In the spirit of our Hawaiian heritage, Huaka’i O Jiu-Jitsu was born from a desire to guide others on their personal journey of growth and self-discovery.
Our name pays homage to our family’s roots as voyagers, with “Huaka’i” meaning “to travel or journey.”
So, Huaka’i O Jiu-Jitsu is “The Journey of Jiu-Jitsu”.
